Rhodope Crystal in Madan is a mineral collection, not an underground mine tour. The municipal tourism listing places the hall at 1 Yavor Street and dates its establishment to 1984. Choose it for a close look at mineral specimens before exploring the area's mining heritage; do not expect mine equipment or a cave journey to be part of the same visit.

The listing does not define the months for each season. Confirm which schedule applies to your date, the lunch/last-entry arrangements and holiday exceptions. Pair specimens with mining interpretation. Our suggested second stop is Sharenka cave museum, a separate site outside the town. Discuss its current opening and suitable access with the museum team before adding it. A cave visit has different movement and weather considerations from the crystal hall; it is not an automatic extension of the ticket or a verified walking route. Stay with authorised visitor areas rather than investigating abandoned mine entrances.
