Regional historocal museum

The Pazardzhik Museum is the successor of the museum collection at Videlina community center, established in 1907. In the 1920s and 1930s, the collection was enriched with thousands of documentary and substantial monuments providing the opportunity to create a representative exposition. Since 1980, the Museum and the City Art Gallery have been home to the specially constructed building for their needs in the center of the province town.

The development of the Pazardzhik region in the days of the Renaissance is presented in the original photo documentary exhibition. It traces the involvement of local and in national liberation struggles. In Lapidarium the museum in chronological order are displayed statues, altars, columns, travel and more.

The museum has its own book depository, prints and restoration workshop.
