Ivan Vazov House Museum

This Ivan Vazov House Museum is in Berkovitsa, not his birthplace in Sopot or the Sofia house. The municipal account connects the writer's stay in 1879–1880 with his work as a district-court chairman. The preserved house architecture and carved ceilings give the visit two subjects: a historic domestic setting and a particular period in a writer's life.

Ask which furnishings belong to that period and which help interpret it. An old building does not make every displayed object the writer's possession.
