House-museum of Ivan Vazov

Sopot's Ivan Vazov museum offers more than a birthplace photograph: it is a way to connect a writer's family environment with the work that made the town familiar to readers. The house is a reconstruction, not an untouched survival of his childhood home. The museum's historical account explains the rebuilding after the original was destroyed in 1877.
