House-Monument to Yordan Yovkov

Dobrich's Yordan Yovkov House-Monument is a literary museum, not the same building as the writer's house museum. Its exhibition overview centres on Yovkov's life and work, with a study setting, a ceramic panel by Stoimen Stoilov and a Dora Gabe exhibition. Visit for the relationship between writing, visual interpretation and biography, rather than expecting a generic survey of regional archaeology.

Which aspect of a character or setting can an image convey, and which needs words? You need not know every story beforehand. Ask the House-Monument staff to arrange the visit and confirm the address and opening; the museum's published street numbers for that building also differ. Our suggested comparison is the broad literary memorial followed by domestic scale, not two interchangeable names for one attraction.
