Etropole's Clock Tower is a compact way to start exploring the town's history, particularly if you then visit the museum. The municipal history page dates the tower to 1710 and identifies its builder as master Todor. The History Museum's account places the clock's installation later, in 1821, by master Dido. The building and its timekeeping role therefore belong to different stages of the story.
