In 1936 he founded one of -5te archaeological museums in Bulgaria, namely in Sandanski, which specializes in the field of ancient archeology. Located above the Basilica of Bishop John.
The museum has a unique collection of Roman tombstone marble sculpture, which is the largest in Bulgaria and rare in Europe. It was gathered for a period of 80 years from all the settlements in the municipality.
There are mosaics from the early Christian period, which have an area of over 350 sq. Meters. The collection includes 11,367 museum exhibits.
