Treat that notice as more relevant than the older general opening-hours table. This page does not report that work has finished or that the exhibition is admitting visitors again.

Know why it is worth a future visit. The municipal museum description explains that the building covers part of an ancient Roman residence and preserves floor mosaics, some in their original locations. When admission resumes, compare a mosaic's image and border with the room it decorated. That relationship distinguishes this collection from a gallery of detached pictures.
