Uzana's geographical-centre marker gives a simple purpose to a stop among the high meadows above Gabrovo. The photograph at the marker is only the beginning: take time to notice the relationship between open grassland and the surrounding forest. This is a landscape visit, not an indoor attraction requiring a long historical introduction.

The municipal tourism route describes the tricolour marker and the 1991 calculation behind it. The municipality's Uzana overview identifies the area southwest of Gabrovo. Use those directions for a dedicated outing; a map pin alone does not explain parking or the final walking approach.

Allow 60–90 minutes as an editorial estimate for the marker and a modest meadow walk, excluding the drive. Longer mountain routes need their own preparation and timetable. Current visitor-centre hours are not confirmed, and a list of ski facilities does not mean they operate in autumn. Check the road, weather and local access advice before leaving.

Choose a daylight visit with a clear return plan. Bring an extra layer even when Gabrovo feels warm; do not continue into unfamiliar forest or snowy terrain just to lengthen the outing. Ask locally about the tourist stamp if collecting it. Combine Uzana with Gabrovo's town sights, keeping that programme separate from any substantial mountain hike.
